| Jurgen Klopp vs Pep Guardiola |
Liverpool faces Manchester City in the Premier League round of 23 at Anfield. Liverpool is seven points behind Man City and played one extra game as compared to Man City.
PL Table Update:
The former champions played 22 PL games this season get 40 points won 11 of the 7 draws and 4 losses. While on the other hand, Manchester City played 21 games this season get 47 points won 14 of the 5 draws and 2 losses.
These are troubled weeks for Liverpool right now. The club has played eight competitive games since the beginning of the year, four of which they lost. Liverpool has not scored a goal in the last three home games.
This has been the event that has had the biggest impact on the title race and while there are more teams in dispute this time around, it could once again be a pivotal showdown.
However, it is arguably more important to Liverpool than Manchester City, as the visitors' recent form gives them some room for error, while Liverpool's untimely fall has left them a mountain to climb.
A streak of just two wins remains in his last eight Premier League Meetings Jurgen Klopp team is seven points behind the league leaders who have played one more match, and if that gap increases to 10, or even stays at seven, On this weekend, it's hard for the Liverpool side to win the Premier League title this season.
Liverpool Must Need to win this Match:
Sunday's contest may well fall into the must-win category when it comes to Liverpool's title hopes, and the former League champions must need to win this clash.
The champions lost their Previous home game against Brighton 0-1 Score-Line If Liverpool loses the match on Sunday, it will be very difficult for them to win the league title.

Man City Records this Season:
Manchester City conceded only 13 goals in 21 premier league games this season. The leaders have kept six clean sheets on the rebound since then, which means they have now kept more clean sheets than they have conceded this season, preventing the opposition from scoring in 14 of their 21 games.
Guardiola has also had the luxury of being able to rotate his players in recent weeks while maintaining his winning streak, which means his team should be relatively fresh for an upcoming difficult period in which Man City will face Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, Arsenal, West. Ham United and Manchester United in their next six Premier League games.
However, Manchester City will know from past experiences that they cannot allow their gaze to stray beyond Sunday at this point as they seek to overcome a poor Anfield record that has seen Guardiola win none of his five visits in all competitions.
The Citizens have won four of their last five games against the reigning Premier League champions, although they have not won in 14 previous meetings with Liverpool, while the Reds have held the title.
However, the balance of power in those 14 games was very different than how they find it now, and Man City will know that the win at the home of champions this weekend could be another important marker on their way to secure the title.

Liverpool Team News:
Liverpool could get a triple injury boost ahead of this match, Jurgen Klopp confirmed that Sadio Mane, Alisson Becker, and Fabinho will all return to training before the city game.
Alisson missed the game against Brighton due to illness but now he feels better, while Mane and Fabinho have overcome relatively minor muscle problems and should return straight to the starting lineup.
The champion's injury problems remain extensive. Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez could all miss the rest of the season, while Diogo Jota and Naby Keita also remain on the sidelines, but their options have at least been bolstered by the trade deadline.
Newcomers Ozan Kabak and Ben Davies are both in contention to make their debut, which should free captain Jordan Henderson to return to midfield after a spell at center-back.
Questions have been raised as to whether Thiago Alcantara could come out of the side, but Klopp is likely to keep faith in the midfielder in a team that will be much closer to their strongest XI possible with the returning trio.
Man City Team News:
Man City also does not have a pair of key players like Sergio Agüero and Kevin De Bruyne, who will miss the trip to Anfield due to fitness issues.
However, the form of the visitors has not been affected by the absence of those two world-class stars, and Guardiola has the welcome headache of having to choose which of his fit players will start on Sunday.
Gabriel Jesus will be hopeful that goals in his last two games will earn him a starting role, while players like Kyle Walker, Phil Foden, Benjamin Mendy, and Ferran Torres all lost to Burnley.
Raheem Sterling is expected to start against his former club, and he only needs one more goal to reach 100 with Guardiola, a tally only Lionel Messi and Agüero have done before.
