Arsenal-Manchester United

Arsenal
0-0 Manchester United Premier League Round 21

In the early stages, Arsenal used both sides to attack and showed a good start, but gradually the rhythm of United also improved. In the 37th minute, McTominay put in Martial due to a condition problem, and the variation of the attack increased further.

Even so, the score does not move easily. Even in the second half, 0-0 continues. Arsenal put in Ødegaard in the 83rd minute, but couldn't work in a short amount of time. United was closer to the goal at the end, but no goal was born here either.

Match Overview:

Frustrated by Edinson Cavani's failures, Manchester United have conceded a 0-0 draw against Arsenal and standing in second place in the Premier League table.

The match could have tipped in favor of the Gunners, on a free kick from Alexandre Lacazette which bounced off the crossbar of David De Gea.

Another stop for the Red Devils. Three days after the surprise loss to Manchester United to Sheffield United, Manchester United conceded a 0-0 draw against Arsenal on Saturday night at the Emirates Stadium.

This further poor performance (only one success over the last four outings in the Premier League) prevents the Mancunian club from maintaining contact with the championship leader Manchester City. The Gunners, who have not lost more recently, are struggling back to eighth place.

Two clear chances Missed by Cavani:

When the English striker did not get tangled up a few meters from the line (43rd), his Uruguayan teammate made a copy recalling his most frustrating evenings with Paris Saint-Germain.

In the second half, "El Matador" clearly ate the scoresheet with a missed point-blank recovery (59th) and an insufficiently precise at the very end of the match (89th).

All these disappointments would have been less problematic if Fred had not been upset earlier by Bernd Leno (20th).

But the victory could also have gone to Arsenal, with a little more success on the free-kick sent right on the crossbar of David De Gea by Alexandre Lacazette (66th).

Nicolas Pepe was also close to finding the fault, especially with two coiled strikes passed close to the left post (30th, 82nd).
